The group is a joint study group open to members of some other U3A groups, subject to the approval of their own Study Group Coordinator.

Please e-mail the Study Group Leader before attending for the first time.

We make and design jewellery, mainly using beads. We can also help people repair, alter or remake broken or unsuitable items of jewellery.

We often have visiting experts to run the sessions and teach us different techniques and designs. We have incorporated wirework, macramé, glueing and bead weaving into our repertoire.

We are a friendly group and try to help anyone who gets stuck.

The cost per session is £5. Tuition and materials are provided if required and members can usually take home a piece of completed jewellery.
