Talks and Shows

All the talks and shows listed on this page are open to all WPU3A members on a free basis. The events are in two categories:


 

Talks at Monthly Meetings

Monthly meeting are held St Luke's Church Hall.  The formal meeting starts at 3:00 pm, but members are encouraged to get their early to get a seat and to socialise.  After the meeting, tea and coffee are served and there is time for more socialising.

Shows

Our u3a puts on shows to entertain our members, featuring the talents of individual members and Interest Groups. These have been produced annually since 2014. These are generally captured on video and you can watch performances from past years from the Previous Events page.

In 2020 and 2021 we produced shows on video only, as the Covid 19 pandemic prevented us from getting together in person.

We were live once again in 2022.  We have put on a show every year since, and in 2025 the show featured performers entirely from The Entertainers group.
