The group promotes traditional English music and dance in the style known as North West Morris, and provides general insight into the world of Morris Dancing in all its forms.

There are ad hoc discussion meetings for all members and practise sessions for musicians. The group is open to anyone of any age and gender as dancers or musicians, or as interested parties.

The group has a close association with Pump House Morris Dancers in Watford which provides the opportunity to participate in this artform at public and private events and at festivals around the country. Members of ‘Traditions of Morris Dance’ will be encouraged to join Pump House Dancers, but that isn’t compulsory. Further details here:https://www.pumphouseclogmorris.co.uk/
