We are not professional musicians but we have considerable live-gig experience and play and sing to a near-professional level. Our forte is music from the 1960s pop scene.

Public Events Coming Up

The next event open to members of Watford Park U3A will be on Saturday 7th February 2026 in the Glindon Room at The Metropolitan. This will be limited capacity and ticketed with the price being around £15, to include a snack dish.

Sadly, our regular gigs at The White Lion look to have come to an end. Sean and Ausra have given up the management to have a break and then look for a new start elsewhere. This may be another pub or perhaps a licensed restaurant. If they do return to this locality we will explore a resumption of free, public Rock Bottom gigs.

We are available for u3a, charity and other organisations, and private bookings. 

If you are looking for a band for an event please feel free to contact us to check availability. Our particular specialism is up tempo covers from the 1960s when the Beatles and Stones were top of the pile and singles were made of vinyl and sold for 6s 8d. This music always seems to go down well at parties and dance events, particularly where guests lived through those magical years, just as we did.

We have an extensive repertoire and we are happy to tailor a playlist to match your particular requirements and preferences.

Recordings

We are primarily a live performance band but we have made some recordings. You can hear these on The Rock Bottom Band page on the Lemonrock website. Some were recorded in 2021 during our regular rehearsals - the sound isn't studio mix standard but it shows you what we would sound like in a live gig.  Others date back to 2017 when we held a session at the (now defunct) Titan Recording Studios in Watford.
